Info: How We Structure our Quizzes

We’ve found that, often, the most difficult thing about bridge is to identify what’s most important, in the particular situation we are facing. We’ve all experienced deals that seem impossible initially, but that suddenly become clear when we focus our attention in the most productive direction.

For this reason, our Quizzes are structured around a series of questions that we would ask ourselves, in the Quiz situation. We hope that this will help you to ask yourself the right questions at the table. Those questions will look like this:

What’s going on in clubs? or What about the high card points? or

Which opponent is most likely to hold the King of hearts? or What’s your plan?

Our goal is to help you reach a sound and reasonable decision, for purposes of practical play, at the table, with a time limit. By contrast, we are not particularly interested in identifying the absolute best decision, especially when the necessary thinking process would take longer than is typically available in practical bridge.
